SampTA 2019

the 13th SampTA (Sampling Theory and Applications) conference will be held at University of Bordeaux, France, July 8-12 2019.

The conference focuses on such fields as signal processing and image processing, information theory, control theory, real analysis and complex analysis, harmonic analysis.

If you wish to present your work  at SampTA, you are invited to submit a 4 page maximum extended abstract from mid-november to

January 18th 2019
through our web site. The conference proceedings will be indexed in ieee-xplore.

PS The SampTA conference takes place the week after SPARS 2019
which takes place in Toulouse, France. The 2 cities are 220 km distant and well connected by train, highway and buses.

Extended deadlines of SampTA 2017

May 8: Final manuscripts uploaded in EDAS

May 12: Extended early registration closes (fee 260 Euros, valid with the hotel reservation)

Mini-courses (5 ECTS) for doctoral students / recent PhD graduates on July 2 – 4, 2017

Application submission deadline is extended until May 8 (look at http://sampta2017.ee/mini-courses/). Acceptance notice will be posted by May 12. Although the registration (only for mini-courses) is open until June 6, please take care of accommodation.

Tentative program/schedule (to plan your travel)

Sunday, July 2, 11:00 – 18:00: Mini-courses at Tallinn University (Narva Str. 29, 15 min walk from the conference venue); 19:00 – 22:00: registration of SampTA at the conference venue Original Sokos Hotel Viru, Viru Square 4.

Monday, July 3, 8:00 – 18.10: registration and SampTA (2 plenary lectures), 19:30 Welcome + Shannon 100 Lecture

Tuesday, July 4, 8:30 – 18:30: SampTA (2 plenary lectures), incl. posters and Mini-courses participants awarding

Wednesday, July 5, 8:30 – 12:00: SampTA (1 plenary lecture), 13:00 – 21:00 excursion.

Thursday, July 6, 8:30 – 18:30: SampTA (2 plenary lectures), incl. posters; 19:30 Conference Dinner.

Friday, July 7, 8:30 – 18:20: SampTA (2 plenary lectures); Closing and good-bye hugs.
